Yemen Company for Industry & Commerce was establish in 1970. It is the first manufacturing Company of Hayel Saeed Anam Group.

YCIC is one of the largest manufacturer of Biscuits, Sweets, Cakes and Cookies in the region.

YCIC has grown from a small one line since it was established in 1970 to a flourishing and expanding the product lines to about 15 different production lines. It started with about only 120 employs. Recently YCIC has about 1600 employees. The capacity was only about 8000 ton/year. This fast growing is because of highly productive state of art plant and high quality products.

YCIC now has an ultra modern laboratory, R&D facilities and most modern equipment in the plants to ensure world standard products consistently an reliably. The warehouses are very modern and computerized ensuring absolutely reliable deliveries.

YCIC products are exported to several countries in the Middle East. The GCC and Africa.
Recently we started exporting to USA.

Biscuits Plant

This plant produces very popular and normal biscuits and creamed biscuits.
The most popular being Abu Walad biscuits, which is a household name in Yemen, Saudi Arabia, African countries and now the USA.

YCIC also produces Vitamins and Minerals Enriched Baby biscuits, which serve the Nutritional needs of children.
The Capacity of this plant: 120 ton/day

Wafers Plant

This plant is one of the largest in the Middle East producing different type of Fruit flavored cream Wafers, Chocolate cream wafers and chocolate coated wafers.
The teashop chocolate wafers are extremely popular with the children and adults.

YCIC wafers are very popular in the neighboring countries and they have started going to USA in many flavors where the quality and test are very much liked.
The Capacity of this plant : 20 ton/day.

Sweets Plant

This plant is only plant in the region producing such a wide range of Candles, Lollipops, Toffees, Mints, Fruit flavored tablets, Chocolate coated peanuts and colored chocolate tablets.
The Capacity of this plant : 30 ton/day.

Cakes and Cookies Plant

This plant produces Cakes sponge with Fruit Flavored cream, vanilla cream, Orange cream, Strawberry cream, Pineapple cream and Chocolate cream.
The Cookies are all very high quality and are used for gifts, and social gathering.
The capacity of this plant : 3 ton/day.
